What’s missing? – Here’s the way to get it!
Apart from basic entities, every client needs specific data. These industry-sector-specific processes can be added to the qualified “universe” to improve and refine it.
Some companies need particular data that cannot be delivered or created in a “universe”. The question arises- how can this be tested by using data from previous systems? The solution is simple- fill up the former system with test data. Technically seen- there are 3 systems in simultaneous existence:
- - the relatively less powerful developing system without any important data, for all developers open
- - the test system which is loaded with and processes test-data, to implement integration and approval tests
- - the locked production system, consisting of real data
This means that companies testing new software just need to fill up the previous system with test-data. This test-data is made suitable to the new system by the generation and processing of existing data. It might happen that manual processes replacement or bridging by automatic processes. Should it not be possible to make use of the former systems, they need to be simulated. We are there to assist and support you in this way.
Just one snapshot is adequate to do a test. If this is a regular test- the cyclical generation of test-data, which exists parallel to production, could be a sound and efficient means to your company. In some instances, even minimized segments of available data can be applied in order to achieve sufficient results.
